In March, I have only 8 links to share, but each of them relates to a particularly interesting topic. Starting with Unilever’s crowdsourcing ambitions (via The Foundry), to a very funny pre-roll ad by Geico, all the way to some public relations-related articles and a drone video. The latter takes you through the world’s largest cave in Vietnam (click on the image left to see more), and the images are breathtaking. Continue reading →

My Favorites From February: Samsung’s TV Privacy Policy, Bradley Wiggins’ Evolution & Google Cardboard
Here are a dozen of links, stories and videos that I liked in February. From Parker Higgins’ viral tweet about Samsung’s Smart TV to the Google Cardboard virtual reality gadget and a magnificent video about Dubai, I hope you’ll find some stimulating things here. I’ve also inserted two cycling-related links where great champions, Sir Bradley Wiggins and François Pervis, tell us a little bit about their life experiences and cycling in different cultures – each in their own ways. I hope you like it, share it, and you have a great day! Continue reading →
My Favorites From January: Cosmopolitan Paris, Social Media Seen By A Teen & Uber’s Previous Logo
Of course, the month of January was overshadowed by the tragic Charlie Hebdo event(s) which killed 17 people and wounded 22 others. The New Yorker cover depicted here, which was created by Ana Juan, is just one of many artistic shows of support for the victims of the Paris attacks. I found it both beautiful and impactful, that’s why I use it to illustrate this month’s post. You can see some other great illustrations on eYeka’s blog, which shares the best entries that the community submitted to the #JeSuisCharlie contest.
Beside some stories linked to the Charlie Hebdo events, as well as the tweet that the satirical magazine issued just hours before the shooting, you will find other interesting links that I stumbled upon this pas month. There’s a dauting article about moderators of social media sites, two articles about the cosmopolitan Paris that I love, or an article about social media “written by an actual teen.” Enjoy.
The University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne Updates Its Brand Identity
A couple of years ago, I blogged about the new visual identity of my then business school, ESSCA. Time has passed, I have moved on, here’s a post about my current institution’s visual identity change. On January 12th, the Université Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne has indeed “changed” its visual identity (actually “updated” or “harmonized,” – we are far away from the MIT Media Lab for instance), unveiling a new visual identity designed by the designer Gérard Caron. The new logo is now organized around two strong visual elements that constitute the institution’s heritage: the front of the Pantheon and the dome of the Sorbonne chapel. Continue reading →
My Favorties Of December: Countries As Brands, Sorbonne From The Inside & Choices Across Cultures
To wrap up 2014 nicely, here is a selection of links (articles, reports, interviews, photos…) that I liked and tweeted in December. Articles about crowdsourcing, content marketing, entrepreneurship and open creativity populate this wrap-up, I hope you will like them.
For me, 2015 will mark a pivot year as I will start as a full-time Marketing Manager at eYeka, shifting the focus away from research and towards driving business results for the world’s leading creative crowdsourcing platform. I just found this part of my job to keep me going more than only doing teaching and research (note that I will finish my thesis, continue working on currently ongoing research projects and start teaching marketing at ESSCA Business School, so I’m not totally changing focus).
Happy 2015 to you all! Continue reading →
Merry Christmas. Joyeux Noël. Frohe Weihnachten. Nedeleg laouen!

Santa didn’t leave me a finished thesis, this year (but I hope to call myself a PhD in the next year)
This post is just to wish all readers of this blog a Merry Christmas, a Joyeux Noël (French), Frohe Weihnachten (German), Nedeleg laouen (Breton)! It’s also to share the news that I will be switching to a full-time corporate job next year, becoming Marketing Manager at eYeka. I am indeed done with the 3-year CIFRE convention that I had signed in January 2012, which allowed me to be part-time employee & part-time PhD student, and I am now keen to start a corporate career as a marketer. My Favorites of November: Localized Marketing, GoPro In A Bubble & The ROI of Creativity
Have you ever seen an appartment that had been abandoned for decades and opened again only recently? What does it look like to see austronauts from inside a bubble? Which brands are most influential on social media? Some of this month’s links will give you answers to these questions. The others are little bit more serious and mostly related to (localized) marketing, (crowdsourced) design or creativity. Here are 9 links from November. Don’t hesitate to share yours in the comments!
